Here are our list of inspirations for all of our fragrances!
- Genesis: When making this fragrance we did a deep dive into the creation story. We were reminded of the beauty and wonder in nature that God handcrafted.
- Exodus: When making this fragrance we thought about the events taking place as the Israelites escaped from Egypt. We were reminded of their courage and bravery as they crossed the Red Sea!
- *Leviticus: While making this fragrance we reflected on Gods guidance and communication with the Israelites. As the traversed the Desert we were reminded of how God consistently provided for them.
- *Numbers: While making this fragrance we thought about How God continued to be faithful and forgiving despite the Israelites disobedience.
- Deuteronomy: When making this fragrance we were reminded of the Ten Commandments and the straight forward Righteousness of Gods word.
- Joshua: When developing this fragrances we were reminded of Joshua and his triumphant victories as he led the Israelites into the promise land!
- Judges: When developing this fragrance we were reminded of the rulers of the Israelites and their brilliant leadership as they followed the will of God.
- Ruth: While making the Fragrance we recognized on Ruth’s humility and sweet nature. We were reminded of her kind heart and care for others.
- 1 & 2 Samuel: When making this Fragrance we focused on the story of the prophet Samuel and his obedience to God. We were reminded his honesty and integrity!
- 1 & 2 Kings: Although this book speaks about the record of the Kings in Judah and Israel we decided that this fragrance would be inspired by the story of Elijah and the assurance God had given him when He sent fire from the sky!
- *1 & 2 Chronicles: When making this fragrance we realized how important it is to learn from the past but also to be refreshed for the future!
- Ezra: while making this fragrance we were reminded of Ezra’s devotion to God during the time of struggle within the Israelite tribes and their plan to rebuild the temple after being freed from the Babylonians.
- Nehemiah: When making the fragrance we thought about the meaning of the name Nehemiah and we’re reminded of how God can truly be one’s comfort in times of trouble.
- Esther: When developing this fragrance we were reminded of how bright and bold Esther was and were reminded of her willingness to stand up for what is right!
- Job: When developing this fragrances we were reminded of not just Jobs large losses but his greater gains. The heaviness of his grief was lifted as God revealed himself and his promises to him.
- Psalms: As we developed this fragrance we were reminded of David’s musical messages about life throughout this book!
- Proverbs: As we developed this fragrance we were reminded of Solomons vast understanding and his wise words that were given to him by God himself.
- Ecclesiastics: When developing this fragrance we remembered the strict but meaningful lessons of having vanity, being prideful and the importance of being humble and the purpose of grace.
- Songs of Solomon: While making this fragrances we were reminded of how sweet and beautiful love can be.
- Isaiah: While making this fragrance we were reminded of the prophet Isaiah’s consistent messages about the coming messiah.
- Jeremiah: Like the Prophet Jeremiah’s message this Fragrance reminds us of the way Jeremiah sharply told the Israelites of their sins and pushed them to repent.
- Lamentations: While making this fragrance we focused on the beautiful poetic portrayal which displays process of reflecting on the grief and loneliness of sin to the repentance and submission to God.
- Ezekiel: This fragrance was inspired by the vision of Ezekiel the prophet raising dry bones to live once more! We are reminded of the renewing of the covenant between God and Israel!
- Daniel: This fragrance was inspired by Daniel and his trust in God as he was thrown into the lions den. We are reminded of his faith and pack of fear during times of trouble.
- *Hosea: This fragrance is inspired by the prophet Hosea’s message and his message of obedience to God and loyalty to one’s spouse.
- Joel: When making this fragrance we were reminded of the prophet Joels message of repentance redemption and salvation!
- Amos: When making this fragrance we were reminded of the prophet Amos and his messages about Righteousness and Justice!
- Obadiah: While developing this fragrance we were reminded of the prophet Obadiah and his heavy warnings that he shared to the land of Edom.
- Jonah: While developing this fragrance we thought about the journey Jonah to to Nineveh in the belly of a fish!
- Micah: While making this fragrance we remembered the message of the Prophet Micah and his focus on how God is merciful, just and will send a messiah to come and rule the people and bless the nations.
- Nahum: This fragrance is inspired by The prophet and his in depth explanation concerning the city of Nineveh’s downfall.
- Habakkuk: While making this fragrance we thought about the prophet Habakkuk and his willingness to ask God difficult questions that humans do not have answers to. We are reminded of his open communication with God.
- Zephaniah: This fragrance is inspired by the passion in the prophets Zephaniah’s words as he stresses the importance of the purification that will happen with fire by God once His judgement has been brought to the nations.
- Haggai: While making this fragrance we were reminded of the hope and encouragement the prophet Haggai spreads to the children of God.
- Zechariah: We were reminded of the vision the prophet Zechariah had of God changing Joshua’s garments from dirty to clean. This message reminds us that God cleans all impurities and sins.
- Malachi: When developing this fragrance we were reminded of his perseverance and deep rooted faith he had in God.
- Matthew: This fragrance is inspired by the story of the disciple Matthew who stopped being a tax collector and became a disciple of Jesus. We are reminded of Matthew’s willingness to follow Jesus and his loyalty as a disciple.
- Mark: This fragrance is inspired of the story of the disciple Mark who at a young age started following Jesus.
- Luke: This fragrance is inspired by the story of the apostle Luke who became a follower of Jesus after His death and followed Paul along his journey to spread the Word of the Lord.
- John: This fragrance is inspired by the story of the disciple John and his willingness to follow Jesus.
- Acts of the Apostles: When making this fragrance we thought about Jesus reaching out to the gentiles due to the Jews rejecting his message. We were reminded of the message of salvation being spread to others.
- Romans:This fragrance is inspired by the first letter that appears in the Bible written by Paul. We remember his message of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
- Corinthians: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to the Corinthians. We remember his message of the benefits of salvation after death through Christ.
- Galatians: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to the Galatians. We remember his message of being secure in one’s faith and believe in Jesus rather than focusing on material things.
- Ephesians: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to the Ephesians. We remember his message about Unity in the body of Christ and the importance of loving one another.
- Philippians: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to the Philippians. We remember the message of meditating on what is pure, lovely, honorable and excellent.
- Colossians: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to the Colossians. We remember his message of changing one’s mindset as they continued their journey with Christ.
- 1 & 2 Thessalonians: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to the Thessalonians. We remember his message of praying continuously and living a life that is pleasing to God.
- 1 & 2 Timothy: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to Timothy. He reminds him that he should preach the word without fear and to be ready for any obstacles that may come his way.
- Titus: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to Titus. Paul reminds him that we were once sinners but after coming to Christ we have become renewed.
- Philemon: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to Titus. Paul asks him to take care of his pupil Onesimus. This reminds us that we should take care of each other with love and kindness.
- Hebrews: This fragrance is inspired by the letter Paul wrote to the Hebrews. We remember his message that Jesus sacrificed himself for all.
- James: This fragrance is inspired by the book of James. In this book we are reminded to practice patience in times of trouble and not to be discouraged.
- 1 & 2 Peter: This fragrance is inspired by the books of Peter. In this book we are reminded of the importance of leadership and being a shepherd to the sheep.
- 1 & & & 3 John: This fragrance is inspired by the books of John. In these books we are reminded to walk in truth and love. We are also reminded that God is love.
- Jude: This fragrance is inspired by the book of Jude. In this book we are reminded to be upright and call out false prophets and bring light.
- Revelation: This fragrance is inspired by the apocalyptic events that take place in the last book of the Bible. An ending that is a beginning everlasting.
